الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ في ذكرى حولية جده العلامة الحبيب سالم بن حفيظ ابن الشيخ أبي بكر بن سالم:

"هذا مظهر من مظاهر الخدمة، وفي حياته كل يوم يعقد درساً في مكان، كما نفع الله سبحانه وتعالى به، والمدرسة التي قامت في هذا المكان كل من عنده أدنى تعلم وثقافة من أهل هذه المناطق القريبة مرجع الفضل لأهل المدرسة ومن كان يُدرِّس فيها، عليهم رحمة الله تبارك وتعالى، وعملوا الأعمال بمعاني الإخلاص لوجه الله جل جلاله.

 ومضوا على قصد السبيل إلى العُلا ** قدماً على قدم بجدٍّ أوزعِ

وهكذا كان سرّ الاتصال بالجناب النبوي عبر هذا السند والعلائق قامت بمحض الإيمان"

مترجم إلى الإنجليزية (In English):

al-Habib ʿUmar bin Hafiẓ at the commemoration of his grandfather, the erudite: al-Habib Salim bin Hafiẓ ibn al-Shaykh Abi Bakr bin Salim:

These places have been served. This is a manifestation from the manifestations of service. During his life, every day he would hold a class in a place, as Allah, Glorious and Transcendent, benefitted (others) through him. 

And the school that he established in this place, anyone who has the slightest education and culture, owes it to the people of that school and those teaching therein, may the mercy of Allah, Blessed and Transcendent, be upon them! They acted upon meanings of sincerity for the noble countenance of Allah, glorious is His Majesty.

They proceeded forward seeking the path to the Highest Summit, Step after step with perseverance and resilience.    

And just like this, the secret of connecting to the Prophetic presence through these chains and connection were established, through pure faith.

Petikan ceramah Al Habib Umar bin Hafidz dalam Acara Peringatan Hauliyah kakek Beliau Al Allamah Al Habib Salim bin Hafidz Ibni Syekh Abi Bakr bin Salim:

"Beliau merupakan salah satu simbol khidmah, dalam kehidupan beliau setiap hari membuka suatu kajian di tempat yang berbeda, sebagaimana Allah swt. menjadikan beliau bermanfaat: madrasah yang terbangun di kampung ini -seluruh yang mendapatkan edukasi dan pendidikan sekecil apapun- sumbernya kembali kepada madrasah tersebut dan para pengajar nya. Semoga Allah merahmati mereka semua. 

Mereka telah berbuat suatu amalan dengan penuh makna ikhlas demi Allah _jalla jalaluh_

_dan mereka berlalu dalam jalan lurus menuju keluhuran_** _langkah demi langkah dengan kesungguhan yang penuh_

Beginilah rahasia konektivitas kepada hadirat Sang Nabi lewat sanad dan tali ini yang rekat dengan iman yang murni".
