Sayyidi al-Habib Omar bin Hafiz (may Allah preserve him) has on his recent trips abroad felt the need to strengthen the connection with those seeking knowledge and spiritual progress throughout the world. For that reason he began on Sunday 28^th Rabi al-Awwal 1431/14^th March 2010 the first of his weekly lessons in spiritual wayfaring. The lesson was broadcast live on the internet and translated live by Shaykh Abdulkarim Yahya. The first lesson is also available to download on this site and will be available every week inshallah.

In the first half hour of the lesson Habib Omar began a commentary on Imam Abdullah al-Aydarus's book "The Red Sulphur" (al-Kibrit al-Ahmar) and then for the second half hour answered questions sent in by those following the lesson. Anyone that wishes to ask a question relating to the lesson or any aspect of spiritual wayfaring should send it to [email protected] either during the lesson or at any other time. The lesson will inshallah continue weekly on Sunday from 11 AM - 12 PM Makka time (+3 GMT).
